APPLICATION PROCEDURE
Applications are accepted via email only.The entire application should not exceed 2MB; compress the files if necessary.
Applications should include the following:
Project description – A Word or pdf file that includes:
- Project title
- Contact name
- Phone number, email, post mail
- Names of participants
- Detailed Description of the proposed installation
- Artist(s) Curriculum Vitae/Resume
- Work Samples - Up to 15 jpegs, including samples of work by all participants. Name the files YourLastName_01, YourLastName_02, etc., in the same order as their descriptions on the Image Description List. Work samples should be representative of the proposed installation but do not have to represent actual works that will be included.
- Image Description List - A numbered list in Word or pdf format. For each image, list artist's name, dimensions of work, materials used, and date executed.
- Other Support Materials - Please enclose any other supplemental files or links you see fit to include.
The application deadline for the 2010/11 season is midnight on Feb 1, 2010.
All complete proposals are reviewed by the jurors. Past jurors have included Sarah Traver (William Traver Gallery), Greg Bell (4Culture), Janae Huber (Washington State Arts Commission), Jacqueline Kosak (Safeco Art Collection), Mike Sweney (former Director, Davidson Contemporary), Fionn Meade (former Director of Grant Programs, Artist Trust), Craig Miller (founder, Soil Gallery), Tracey Fugami (Pratt Fine Arts Center), Julia Zay (The Evergreen State College), and William Bitter (Museum of Glass). Decisions will be announced in late February 2010.
