Justin Hahn’s installation is an attempt to raise consciousness regarding the manufacture, consumption, and disposal of plastics. Through an ambitious project to collect post-industrial polymeric waste from numerous plastic processing facilities, Justin has collected more than 1,500 pounds of this material. In doing so, he redirects it from controlled municipal waste streams to help illustrate some critical social issues.
